Zuga Implants

Superior Design for Superior Performance and Aesthetics

Zuga’s material selection, shape, thread design, and other intricate details are all created to capitalize on the advances in dental implant design for excellent performance and aesthetics.

  • A Natural Aesthetic Look

The Zuga system is a drill-based solution that simplifies the implant surgery. Our drills are specially designed with stop guides and color codes to help prevent over-drilling and to minimize complications.

The combination of platform switching, as well as the tight, sealed fit between implant and abutment encourages better bone attachment, and helps prevent initial peri-implant bone loss, which ultimately improves the restorative design with improved aesthetics for the patient.

  • Maximum Material Strength

High quality materials make a high-quality product, and with implants, this is no different.

Zuga’s implant system is made from the best quality cold-worked medical grade 4 titanium, making its implants strong, secure and ready for successful bone integration.

  • Rapid Bone Integration from Roughened Titanium and Beneficial Surface Treatment

Through proven technology, the pure grade 4 titanium Zuga implant is blasted and then surface treated.

The result is a roughness that encourages fast bone formation, while yielding optimized osteointegration.

  • A Clean Surface Increases Speed and Quality of Osteointegration

When the implant surface is clean, the implant will likely integrate faster and better. The chart at the right shows test results ingicating the cleanliness of the Zuga implant surface.

The Zuga surface shows a high peak of titanium at 200 cps, and also shows titanium at 30 cps, 10 cps, and 5 cps respectively, indicating no chemical component residue at any meaningful level on the implant surface.

  • Conical Low Angle Taper for Optimized Implant/Abutment Connection

Implant/Abutment fit is crucial to a restoration. Zuga’s conical, low angle taper approximates a Morse Taper, which yields no significant spaces between the Zuga implant and Zuga abutment.

This feature also yields stronger fatigue test results and higher load cycles during standardized testing.

  • Platform Switching

Zuga implants have a standardized platform switching feature that allows the implants to be cross-matched with any diameter Zuga abutment.

For example, a 5.0 mm implant can be matched with a 3.5 mm abutment, allowing space for bone and soft tissue integration.
